I have pondered over this for weeks and hated to say it.I think you will get the drift after I speak. The past few weeks on Ebay there has been some of my older calls being sold on ebay by a prior Customer/Callmaker in which I concider a friend, but havent spoke with in awhile.I just want to point out that some of these calls,if Im not mistaken didnt even have a finish on them. Some may have been proto types also. The engraved scratchboxes on there are mine too,but he fails to mention those in the description. I realize that there his and he can sell them as he likes. I also have no problems signing them for you guys in which I consider my friends. Lets face it,If I kick the bucket, ther the ones ya want..lol To sum things up,I been making calls for 8 years and as any callmaker will tell you ,you will get better as you learn. I guess this bugs me due to the fact that I dont want these calls to reflect my work today.Even the past 3 years I done alot of skill honing and have room for more. Dont get me wrong,They sound good as I try to make all my calls.I am Glad also you get my call period. So if ya get them Great!! Send them up and I'll sign them ,no problem. Sorry about this post ,but its been REALLY bugging me for the shear fact Ive been working so hard to improve my building and make a nice call that many people can enjoy. Thanks for Listening and as always ..Happy Hunting!!

Mike I had a similar conversation with AJ recently and I told him I wish I could get back most of my first calls and burn them and of course he laughed but he also told me something I didn't take the time to think about and that is those first calls you and I and a bunch of others first started making and selling are our History they are the Legacy you and I will leave behind. And He is right in his thinking. I wasn't born a natural call maker I had to learn everything by trial and error. Neil Cost wasn't my next door neighbor I didn't even know and didn't care who DD Adams was I just wanted to call turkeys and thats what starts this madness known as call making! My equipment was crude at best but my heart was Genuine and so is yours! You need not apologize to no one and besides the one I bought off of Ebay sounds Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for being you Mike!
Hey Mike, When I ship them up for you to sign you are welcome to TUNE them up if you like. ;D Can I take advantage of that lifetime warranty?
The two boxes I bought were well worth the $25 and $5 that I spent. Both should make decent field calls. I look at it like this. If I dont like the call, I can always advertise it as a "Rare Vintage Kensinger Call" and sell it to "Brian Cole" for $200 on EBAY. ;D

The first two years worth of calls that I made were IMO horendous. I gave them all away ( but upon consideration, I should have burned them). I saw a kid at a show last year and he told me that he still has one of the first box calls I ever made. I told him that if he would return it to me, I would give him one of my recent calls. Little turd wouldnt do it
