Here are some pictures of two calls I received from our new call making member Bigtomscalls. The first one is a slate Tom was first started making a few years ago.
The next call is a box call I just received from Big Tom. It is Laminated with different woods and is beautiful looking calls has a raspy tone to it. The lid of the call has a piece of slate inlayed into it.
The next set of calls are made from a call maker by the name of Rob Ballaam from Massachusetts. Both calls sound real nice and both will keekee.

Tom makes the Casket call out of a different wood each year the one I have is a Maple wood made from a church pew but he tries to pick a wood with a story for that call. He sells them pretty reasonable but I don't want to quote his price cause I may be wrong but you all can pm him for prices. He makes some really different looking calls I want to buy more of them cause you don't see this stuff every day!

Thank you Larry for putting my calls on the forum. Larry and i meet Larry a few years ago when i bought a few strickers on ebay. He was very instrumental in my call making. When ever i hade a problem or question on making calls he was allways there to help out. You don't find poeple like Larry every day. Thanks Larry!! I have lived in the Catskill Mts. of N.Y. all my life so i try to give my calls names that reflect were i'm from. The Catskill Turkey Casket was one of the first calls i strated making. It's made from an old Maple church pew and slate from an old kids chalk board. I now make the from Black walnut that fell in a friend yard a few years ago. Next year will be a completely different kind of reclaimed wood.I sell them for $35.00 and they come with a simple wood striker made from different kinds of wood dowels. I don't have a lathe yet to make strikers, but hope to soon. The second picture is a sigle sided box call i make from 5 different woods, and has a peice of slate on the bottom of the lid. I call it the Catskill Cackler, and they go for $50.00. I'm sorry i don't have a web site yet but if anybody is interested in any of my call drop me a line at TBruning@aol.com
