Posted this under intro section, but thought I'd paste it here as well.
Hello. First post here, though I can be found a few other places in cyberspace as well. Realtor from Sadler, TX. Passions are bowhunting (whitetail, turkey, hogs and coyotes mostly), bowfishing, 3d and anything else to do with archery. Looks like a great board going here. Hope to get to know you all.

Hey everyone. I've been bowhunting long enough that I don't feel I need to kill a deer everytime I go out. Them Maryland deer just keep tempting me though....They just keep walking by at 15 yards or less....and I'm a big guy. to be sittin up in a tree ;D Hey Davidmil.....

I shoot a Mathews FX and looking to get the LX either this or next year. I hunt primarly in TN but do go to OH and AL on occasion. Would like to hunt in South Texas, if anyone knows a good deal in that area give a shout or drop me an email.

I live in Gonzales, Texas and own/run a hog hunting oufit for bowhunters only. I personally shoot a Parker Ultra Lite 35 with Beman ICS Hunter 340 arrows tipped with Montec G5 125 grain. For a backup bow I have a Renegade Trophy RAC setup with everything else the same as on my Parker.
These hogs are true feral hogs. They are all free range and free chase. No dogs, no guns, bow only. I do have feeders and bait sites set up on some of the ranches to hunt by, in case the hunter gets to upset with the real challenge of hunting a real wild hog with a bow. Seriously, there are all size of hogs out there on these places. Sometimes you see a large lone boar, sometimes you see a group of sows and a few little meat hogs, maybe a large boar with that group as well. I do my personal best to assist all my hunters. I don't do large groups. I like groups of 1-3 hunters. Occasionally I might to 4 but that is it. Check out my website for more information.

Hi-- Just joined the forum recently and thought I would introduce myself in this thread. My name is John Maynard. Been bowhunting for about 41 years. When I started out there were only recurves and stickbows. No camo other than military and no arrows other than cedar. Archery has come a long way and I've tried to keep up with it. I used to own an archery shop in St. Cloud, Minnesota until I moved to Colorado where I spent several years. Three years ago I semi-retired and moved to Kentucky. I don't shot for any manufacturer although I used to be a staff shooter for Wing (Most of you probably don't even remember them) and then Darton. I am a certified instructor and work with 4-H youth and I am just getting started in the Kentucky School archery classes. I presently am a field tester for Golden Key Futura and I shoot a Kodiak Outdoors KO32 bow with carbon express arrows and Magnus 100 grain 4 blade "stinger" arrows. I use a Scott Rhino release and have a GFK Mirage drop-away rest. I use Turbo Nocks on my arrows.

Well I just started bowhunting last November, although I've hunted all my life with rifle/shotgun. I went out twice and took 2 deer. I LOVE it!! Deer season starts here in South Carolina August 15. I pass the time between turkey season and deer/dove season by bowhunting hogs. I shoot a Hoyt ViperTec with a Copper John Dead Nuts sight.
When does everyone's season start?
