I am a new member of this site and have been Bow Hunting for 14 years. I have been sponsored by Hoyt, PSE, Pearson and Matthews. I have guided in Colorado for a few years and currently belong to a Hunt Club in Southern Ca. I am also waiting for my backgrounds for the CA Dept of Fish and Game for IBEP Instructor status. I just wanted to introduce myself to the Board and Staff. I shoot a Hoyt, use Votex Mini-Max Broadheads and ACC arrows and I have 9 animals left for the Mast Bowhunter Classification.

I want a Mathews Legacy this year. I shoot now a Jennings Buckmaster that I have had since they first came out. I was a lucky one I got a good one shoots awesome still. Shoot 2213's xx75's with 100gr. Muzzy's Why? You know why! Because they are BAD TO THE BONE! ;D
HI... My name is DAVIDMIL..... nuff said. ;D Let's see. I've bow hunted 33 years, I've been sponsored by no one, I am an IBEF instructor, I have no idea what a Mast Bowhunter Certification is, If there are 9 whitetails left they don't live in my county... I guess that covers it. ;D ;D So is someone who's been sponsored by 4 different bow manufacturers in that much demand or does he just prostitute himself to the highest bidder? I had to ask. That would be about 3 1/2 years per company. I shoot a Darton or a PSE and use 125 Thunderheads on the end of some 340 ICS hunters.
P.S. You understand Airborne.... this job pays nothing.

davidmil: talk about a small world. My best hunting friend and partner out here is from Hagerstown and I'm from NY, upstate. Where do you hunt in NY? Central? I live in CA now and I try to get as many places as I can. My family in NY are surprised that you can in Los Angeles. But some of the biggest bucks are local to So. Ca area. We just defeated in Court a month ago a place thay we have been hunting for years. Tough state to hunt in due to the general opinion of Hunting.

Been bowhunting for 32 years, still can't get enough of it. Used to be a bowhunter Ed instructor. Also spent 8 years on the state bowhunting organization board. had enough of that. I feel I have paid my dues, now let me go huntin'. So far, I have been fortunate to take bear, elk, antelope, javelina, deer, fox, and a whole mess of coyotes. I am shooting a 7 year old PSE XLR900 with 2314's tipped with Rocket Miniblasters or RM Snypers. i thought about a new bow a few times, but why change when i shoot pass thru's on everything?
Airborne: I'm originally from Upstate near Rome(small town called Blossvale). I hunt two areas... well 3 really. I hunt the early season(3 or 4 days) and the Muzzleloader and opening weekend at my brothers in Booneville(north of Utica) We have the hunting rights(freebie) to a 2,500 acre piece there plus we have 2 or 3 other spots. I also get in a couple bow hunts and turkey hunt in the Southern Tier near Oxford which is NE of Binghamton with 3 old highschool buddies. We've been doing it for 35 years with the exception of service time etc. I usually stay over and gun hunt half a day the opening week in the Southern Tier also. The other spot is up around the old homestead(my other brother lives on it)
Well, this is my first post on this forum. Hello everyone!!!!!. Some of the names look familiar already. I live in michigan and am a chef by trade. I cannot figure out how to support my family with my bow, thats why I keep working. Have been bow hunting for 35 years, and have just reacently become more involved in the sport. I spend most of my free time working with youth groups to involve them in the outdoors. My son and i both shoot Fred Bear epic extremes and love them.
jeniffer123: Really nice post for dog lover and trainer.
