hello to everyone, im a new member and could do with all the help i can get.
Im a student in the UK studing Visual Communication, and for my final project i have chosen camouflage design for the outdoor industry.
My Brief is to creat a Uk brand that is about to launch a few new camo patterns based on british foliage, due to costs, spray paints and hand painting will be my only option for rifles and this is where i need your help, there really isnt that much info on this subject in the uk, but you guys across the pond turn it into pure art work and this is what i want to replicate.
Is krylon paint suitable and hardwearing? Ive read online that its used a lot, and i can get hold of it over here.
Would anyone like to share some techniques they have? i.e what colour paints you use for woodland camouflage and how you achieve the desired effect.

If we can get ATS or Ole6 to help out as I know both have painted their shotguns.
I think your basic colors in a flat Oil base spray would be best. Here are a few colors I would use (Dark and Light Brown, Grey, Green, Black, Tan/sand) I think with those colors you make make just about any color scheme you want for almost any season. Just remember you use your darker colors first and then move to lighter colors for a nicer blending affect.
