Here's my 7pt with a corkscrew point.
Sorry,I had to take a picture of a picture for these next two. This is a crazy lookin' 3pt.I took a few years back.
We have a 6pt on the farm this year with 4 on the left(you can only see 3 from this angle),and two on the right. The brow tine on the right is about 3" long, and what would be the main beam is only about 1 1/2-2"long.Figuring on a deers ear being 6" from inner ear to tip on average.Looks like he would have had a 14-15"spread.I had alot of pics from last year when he had 2 on the right, and 3 on the left. The right side is taking the same shape as last year.My wife shot a 3pt going on 2 years ago, that she hit bad. That would put him being the right age.3.5 years old this year...approx. 1.5 when shot.I told her she has to redeem herself, and do it right the next time she sees him. It's been tearing her up since the bad hit.Sometimes that happens though, atleast he looks healthy. ;D

Thanks guys!I don't know what caused it.I'm suspecting he injured it.I don't know if it's possible, and you may think I'm crazy, but during that summer my Uncle was coming in from the nightshift, and told me he saw a big buck run into the fence several times. He was blinded by my uncles headlights. He said the buck finally stopped ramming the fence, and trotted off back into the cow pasture.Could it be the same buck?Could that be when he injured it?I don't know, but I kind of think that is it.It's dished really, and then it corkscrews out. It's hard to see that it corkscrews, but it does.If you'll notice the opposite main beam has an injury too.It just wasn't long enough to call a point.

Just to be on the subject, these bucks are from a ranch close to my home in Ohio. The little picture is of a buck that scores over 250 inches, and the other buck is as impressive. Anyone can shoot a deer like these on this ranch if they have the time and $20,000!! I'm not impressed by the people who shoot these deer and call it hunting, but the deer are kool to look at. And no, That isn't me in the pic. I'm not that old, nor am I stupid enough to have a pic taken of me with my rifle pointed at my chest!

Great looking deer. The picture of the shooter shows the difference between a hunter and a shooter for sure. He obviously has plenty of dollars if he dished out $20,000 to shoot a Whitetail. To bad he doesn't have any sense to go along with it.
