I just got a REMINGTON MODEL 700 .222 FOR CHRISTMAS and I was wondering what the best size of scope would be. I am using it for groundhog and coyote. Some 300 yd. shots on groundhogs. And some 250-350 yds for coyote.

I would go with one that would let me see the smallest target clearly, maybe 6-18X 40 or 42 or 44 AO. It is really going to depend on you and your eye sight or ability to pick up small targets. No matter what size I would suggest a known brand and model and handle a lot before making a decision.
