ABO is one of Redfield's repair centers. All info needed is at their site.I had them service one of mine a few years back. The repair or servicing was free. Their shipping and handling charge was on the high side.It was almost 30.00 after I added extra insurance. They did a excellent job on it.I would recommend them for your older Redfield repairs.
Whooooa Gents! Now let me tell you about ABO and Company and their practice of fixing your Redfield Rifle Scope. I'll save you a lot of agrevation and money friends.
A hunter called Coon spook to the ABO CO. and explained he had 2 older Redfield scopes bought back in the 60's believer or not. They said sure we can fix em, just send the check $26 dollars a piece and we will fix you up.
NOT SO!--------The hunter insured the scopes, a 2 x 7 widefield and a 4 x 12 that had gone bad.......the 2 x 7 was still working and it was to only have new O rings installed and checked over. Well, after several months and 6 long distance phone calls, the hunter finally got his scopes back and they were in worse shape than he sent them.
Redfield told him they could not fix those Redfeild scopes, because they were to OLD!!! After telling him to send the scopes and NO PROBLEM OK!!! This ticked the hunter off as he spent money and time sending them off on THEIR say so.
However, the catch with this company is they really don't want to fix your scope. They want to sell you a NEW SCOPE, well lets make that a different scope shall we, meaning they will send you a Refurbished Rifle Scope instead, a reconditioned scope that has been fixed for a brand spanking new price!
They will give you a $100 dollars for a trade in on a new Redfield scope but they also want more money than you can buy a top of the line Leupold rifle scope for in the first place. So you are really getting nothing for your old scope and pay more for a scope that is not near the quality of a Leupold Scope.
This whole transaction was written up on the forum called "Southern Outdoorsman . com by a hunter called Coon. So beware of ABO and company! They kept half of is money he sent them after he told them to NOT touch his rifle scopes, just send them home.

Quigley45/70.......ABO may have fixed some Redfield scope in the past, however I would NOT send them anything in the way of a scope to fix by golly.
One thing I left out in the "Redfield Scope Saga" was that after they told Coon they could NOT fix his 4 x 12 scope (because of bent tube) they later on sent him a letter, tellling him for another sum of money twice the original price......they would fix his scope. They wanted him to send the check first however. Now how does that sound to you ? Sounds like a Rip OFF to this hunter!
I also called ABO on a rifle scope I had that had shot craps! I got a person who spoke very broken English tell me to "Send scope we fix Yes" glad it didn't send the scope. They did send me a list of New scopes to choose from, only they too were those referbished scopes and the prices were indeed inflated a bunch compared to what I could by a Leupold or 4200 series scope for at my local gun store.

That is just one more reason why I prefer Burris... I sent Burris an old scope to be repaired that my father had many years ago on an equally old Model 70. It was old, scratched up, and had been dropped and the adjustment was locked up..... They appearently could not repair it, cause they sent me a new one, and all it cost me was the price of sending it to them in the first place................................PS...I see that makes me 300 posts...What do I win?...LOL

Seems to me that "Time" is merely an artificial concept, created by man, with which to hassel himself.
