The only thing I have ever done, is when I have a coon treed, and the tree is full of leaves and I cant see the coon. I make some noises sort of like donald duck talking. I really dont know how to describe them. Sometimes the coon will move or make some noise back, and then I know where he is.

A lot of coon will come in to the bird calls used for Bobcats (BUT) if you wont to shot alot of coon . I like to call from my high rack but you can call them from the back of your truck or on the ground i find some open ground along the creek bottoms i use the foxpro coon sounds but i no you are useing a cassette caller so the best tape for you is Dennis Kirk coon puppies 1,2 or 3 for coon i play my caller at full volume the louder the better for these sounds I scan all the time with the red spotlight the coon come in fast and mad as hell alot of the time you can here them before you see them ( take your shot) i like the red dot scope and the 22 mag rifle and a Burnham brothers scope light . before you leave the calling site look the trees over some times the female coon will be there looking at you and one more thing Do Not hold the speaker in your hands while calling the coon will crawl rite up your leg.it is alot of fun some times you will have 1 to 9 coon comeing in at one time.
